She left a wonderful legacy of knowledge and love to all her family and friends. Mary was bom in Texhoma, Okla. Territory on Feb. 1907 to Wm. Baker Harwell Jessie B.

Chicken. She is survived by 2 brothers, Edwin Robert Harwell; 4 daughters, June Proctor, Ann McLaughlin, Truda Hibbs Mary Beth Ris-vold; and a host of grandchildren great grandchildren. Mary was very proud of her heritage and loved the history that went with it. This was evidenced by her numerous activities in the DAR where she had been a member since 1939. She served as the organizing regent, Council Grove Chapter in 1946, filled various state and local offices and did a great deal of volunteer work at the state genealogical library.

Mary was a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star and a member of Putnam City United Methodist Church since 1940, serving for a time as church librarian. While Mary officially retired from Reserve National Ins. Co. in 1972, she continued to serve the company on the Board of Directors. During her tenure, she had been office manager, accounting dept.

manager and company treasurer. She was instrumental in the Continuing Education Program for company employees and was the first to receive her FLMI designation (Fellow, Life Management Institute) within the company, and the first female in the state of Oklahoma to achieve this honor. To this date the continuing education goes on in the company under the Mary B. McBryde Education Program. Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 10:00 a.m., Putnam City United Methodist Church with interment at the Brit-Ion Cemetery.

He was bom on a farm in Plain Wood County, Oh, the son of Dwight and Dollie Mae Avery Carr. He graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1939 and attended Bowling Green State University for 2 years. Enlisting in the Army-Air Corps in 1942, he graduated from pilot training in 1944. After a distinguished 23 year career, he retired from the Air Force as a Maior in 1965. He then began working in Civil Service in 196i and retired at Tinker AFB in 1981, with over 38 years combined federal service.

Through the years, Roger enioyed fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, bowling and genealogy. He was a charter member of the Mixed Satellite Bowling League at Planet Bowl and bowled until his health forced him to stop a few years ago. He was a member of the Oklahoma, Connecticut and Ohio Genealogical Societies and also a member of the Medina, Wood and Ashland, Oh. County Societies. He traced and proved his ancestry to a Revolutionary War veteran and was a Son of the American Revolution.

He also proved 14 ancestors as First Family of Wood County, Oh. Roger is survived by 3 sons and a daughter. Col. Larry A. Carr of Brooks AFB, San Antonio, Tx, Lt.

Lago, and was a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, graduating from Central High School and Oklahoma City University. Mr.

Lago joined the Army Air Corps during WWII, compiling a straight 100 average on all qualifying exams. As the war neared its end, he married Mary A. Albright. They celebrated their 51st anniversary last Odober. Following the war, he worked for the Daily Oklahoman and briefly had a spot on the 6 o'clock television news, giving daily updates on drilling reports.

In the early 1950s, he lolned Research Oil Reports, where he remained for over 30 years as the company merged Into Data Inc. and later Petroleum Information. He retired May 31, 1986, as Mid-Continent regional editor. Mr. Lago was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in OKC, where he and Mary taught a nursery Sunday school class for 25 years, and was a former member of the Oklahoma City Golf 8.

He Is survived by wile, Mary, ol the home; daughter, Marilyn "Cissy" and son-in-law, Charles Floyd; son, Larry and daughter-in-law, Lvnna Lago; grandchildren, David Grose, Michelle Floyd, and Peter and Lauren Lago, all of OKC; brother, G.V.
