Which Pontiac GTO Would You Consider Buying Used Today?
Driving home a Pontiac GTO in 2024 holds immense appeal for a lot of muscle car enthusiasts. Quite a few will opine that they 'just don't make 'em like they used to', and they'd be right in their own way, of course. There's also a lot to be said about the advancements in tech and refinement that manufacturers have made since the days of muscle cars rolling off their factory floors for the first time ever, though. Which brings us to a very interesting juncture. If you're at all on the side of the fence that considers old muscle cars like the Pontiac GTO to be worth the money they command today, which particular model would you put your money down on?

How Does $180,000 Sound For A Rare Ford Torino?
The Ford Torino's legend status was never something that's been in doubt, but would you be willing to spend up to $180,000 on an ultra rare Torino model? To give you a little context, the Ford Torino in question here is the 1970 Twister Special. It had a very limited production run of just 90 units, but here's the kicker: only 29 of the 90 units made are accounted for. And given that, it's understandable when these things don't hit the used lots too often. Even then, a listing posted on Mecum estimated between $160,000 and $180,000 for one in good nick. It's a scary figure, no doubt, but it's hardly the most anyone's paid for a collectible. Do you have a story of spending way more on a car than was reasonable? If so, we'd love to hear about it!
